Meet Dr. Isabelle Kick
“I am passionate about helping kids feel comfortable at the dentist, as well as focusing on creating good oral habits from a young age”
-Dr. Isabelle Kick
Dr. Kick grew up in Onalaska, WI, where she loved going to the dentist and set out to become a dentist just like her female dentist growing up. She attended the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a biomedical sciences concentration, minored in chemistry, and was a member of the women’s track and field team. She ran the 60M and 100M high hurdles and even qualified for nationals a few times! After college, Dr. Kick attended Marquette’s Dental School, where she got a great education and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After dental school, Dr. Kick went on to complete a one-year general practice residency (GPR) at Swedish Medical Center and Seattle Special Care Dentistry in Seattle, WA, where she solidified her love for children and patients with special needs. She spent many hours in the hospital treating dental emergencies in the emergency department, treating patients in the operating room, and seeing a wide range of patients with varying medical complexities and ability to tolerate dental treatment. Dr. Kick is excited to be returning back to Wisconsin and caring for her favorite population of people – the kids! She seeks to get to know each and every one of her patients in order to provide the best care. She loves to talk and is excited to get to know all of the patients at The Fun Kids Dentist!
Dr. Kick belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as an Affiliate Member, the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Kick keeps herself busy by spending time with her family and friends, many of whom live in Wisconsin. She is an avid hiker and took advantage of the mountains out in Seattle this past year! She enjoys traveling, attending workout classes, going for walks, drinking coffee, trying new restaurants, and reading books. She is a big Wisconsin sports fan, and looks forward to many Brewers, Bucks, and Packers games this year!
